Thank you for the update, Alex

Hi guys,
We're happy to welcome Pablo to our class. I would like to remind class members to bring their books to class every time we meet. Also, having a working pen or sharpened pencil is useful. We are going to finish reading the Odyssey this semester. Most seniors graduating from high school in the United States have not read the Odyssey, yet it is one of the oldest texts known to Western Civilization. It is going to be fun to read these famous stories from 3000 years ago. It is amazing how clearly Homer de1scribes the events in his epic poem. So get ready guys--were going to go on an epic journey with Odysseus

First Day of Class! 1/4/2012

Today is our first day of class since the new year, 2012! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas break, Mrs. Monson and I are especially grateful for the much needed respite. The students are excited to see the familiar faces of their fellow peers; the classroom spirit is cheery and rather talkative. The subject of their zealous banter is our new member of the Royal Assassins, Pablo! Although Pablo is new to our class he is not new to the school. As an 8th grader, and second year student of Walden it is clear that he fits the mold of our school and class.
